Chris Blackwell holds the position of Senior Vice President of Creative Content at Universal Music Group’s Republic Records. His professional background includes five years at All Def Media where he began as the Director of Social and advanced to become the company’s CEO in 2019. Throughout his tenure at All Def Media, Blackwell helped lead the creation, marketing, and release of iconic digital and premium franchises and worked with brands including McDonalds, Adidas, T-Mobile, and Sprite. Some of his key projects include two popular digital series: Arts & Raps and Dad Jokes. He also led work on premium projects like HBO’s All Def Comedy Live, Netflix’s The Afterparty, and Spotify’s Traffic Jams, which was developed in partnership with Universal Music Group.
