Laura Min Jackson is an award-winning communications professional who has worked with global corporations, start-ups, and nationally-ranked public relations (PR) agencies. In addition to teaching at USC, she’s worked as a consultant; executive communications coach; and guest speaker and facilitator for public health, for-profit, educational, and policy organizations worldwide. As an independent PR consultant, she specializes primarily in healthcare and business-to-business (B2B) relations. Her clients have included Beckman Coulter, Miocean, Össur, and Sony Pictures Entertainment Corp.

Previously, Jackson served as Vice President of Global Communications for the cardiovascular division of Baxter Healthcare and their public spin-off Edwards Lifesciences, where she oversaw all internal and external worldwide communications and established the $200 million nonprofit Edwards Lifesciences Fund. Additionally, she served as Senior Vice President and West Coast Director of the national healthcare practice at Porter/Novelli, specializing in public health initiatives and consumer healthcare accounts. She was also Vice President at PainePR (now Citizen Relations), where she specialized in healthcare and crisis communications. Jackson began her agency career representing consumer, B2B, and tech accounts at Burson-Marsteller after working in the government and nonprofit sectors.

Jackson holds a BA in communications and public relations from California State University, Fullerton and an MS in organization development from Pepperdine University.
