David Stamper

David Stamper is a senior communications executive with over 25 years of agency and corporate experience in Los Angeles, California. In addition to working for several small boutique agencies, Stamper has previously served as Director of Communications at CaliforniaMart, Head of Brand Communications for Mattel, west coast Creative Director for Golin, and General Manager for Fleishman-Hillard in Los Angeles. Throughout the course of his career, Stamper’s client list included major global brands across a wide range of industry sectors such as AEG, AT&T, Amazon, Disney, Dole, G’Day USA, The Guggenheim, Lenovo, Levi Strauss, Mattel, Nestlé, Paramount, Pixar, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Tourism Australia, Universal, and Visa. Stamper has expertise in many communications disciplines including brand development, national media relations, launches and new product introductions, corporate and product repositioning, celebrity and special events, digital program development, message development and spokesperson training, crisis preparedness and issues management, financial corporate relations, cause-related marketing, trade show support, community relations, and employee communications.

Stamper continues to serve as a consultant for a number of freelance clients, specializing in senior executive coaching and speaker/media training and execution as well as red carpet event management for The Emmy Awards. He presided over the board for the Alliance for Healing and Housing which provides food, shelter, and other basic necessities of life to people struggling with poverty, homelessness, and HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County.

He has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate public relations courses in product and brand promotion, business and economic fundamentals, case studies, and investor relations. He received a BA in English literature from the University of Leeds and an MA in English literature from The University of London.
