
Courtney S. Pade teaches in the Communication Management master’s program at USC Annenberg. Her research explores how emerging communication technologies shape brand-consumer relationships, with a particular focus on how organizations use online communities to engage audiences. Recent work investigates how communication professionals are adopting generative AI tools in strategic and organizational contexts. Her classes focus on the areas of marketing communication, research methods, and analytics.
Before joining the USC faculty, Pade worked in marketing for technology startups and served as a facilitator at the USC Marshall School of Business’s Experiential Learning Center, where she provided organizational communication training to undergraduate and MBA students, as well as industry professionals. Pade holds a BA and MA in media studies from Stanford University and an MA and PhD in organizational communication from USC Annenberg.
