
Ben Lee is a clinical professor whose primary teaching and administrative responsibilities are with the Master of Communication Management program at USC Annenberg. He has taught core courses in research methods and foundational communication concepts, as well as in branding and media entertainment. In addition to teaching, Lee plays a central role in supporting and supervising the program’s growing curriculum and refining its academic focus—particularly in marketing communication and media entertainment. Lee leads USC Annenberg’s collaborations with top Chinese universities and advises other institutions on developments in American higher education. He has also helped Chinese and American media entertainment firms better understand each other’s markets and audiences. Lee earned his PhD from USC Annenberg. As both scholar and practitioner, he focuses on human performance—how individuals, organizations, and societies survive and thrive, especially in volatile and uncertain environments.
