Austin Roy

Austin Roy has conducted predictive analytic research for brands across consumer packaged goods, quick-service restaurants, and beverages. His client list included companies such as Starbucks, Gatorade, and Walmart. He has also led syndicated tracker and custom research projects for technology clients including Google, Apple, and Snapchat. Roy holds a BA in philosophy and cognitive science from USC and a post-baccalaureate in writing from the University of California, Berkeley. He returned to USC to earn his master’s in communication management. Roy’s academic work focuses on communication ethics, and his research at USC has examined variation in consumer-perceived ethicality between deontological and teleological consumers.
