A marketing strategist, speaker and writer, Freddy Tran Nager combines three decades of business experience and 14 years of teaching at universities. A web pioneer, Nager served as editor of one of the world’s first entertainment websites in 1994, the acclaimed AMP: MCA Records Online. He subsequently joined major ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi as Senior Copywriter, winning multiple awards for his work on Toyota interactive marketing. He currently runs the creative strategy consultancy Atomic Tango LLC, which has served major brands (Lexus, Barnes & Noble), tech startups, and high-profile individuals (experts and influencers).
Nager is a full-time Lecturer of Communication and the Co-Director of the Master of Science in Digital Media Management program at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. He teaches graduate-level courses on such topics as influencer marketing, content strategy, and entrepreneurial communication.
Nager received his AB from Harvard University and his MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
